Course Profiles

Clearwater Ultra 50K course information will be posted soon. We are in the process of measuring and certifying the course.

The Clearwater Marathon course is mostly flat, with two ascents in the first four miles over relatively tall (75′) bridges, one small bridge (25′) at about mile 14, and three small overpasses (25′) on the Pinellas Trail. It is a loop course showcasing our coastal lifestyle, eclectic communities, and the Pinellas Trail, our award-winning linear park.

The Clearwater Halfathon’s out-and-back course is mostly flat and aesthetically varied, while also challenging, due to the course passing over two significant bridges two times each. The high point for each bridge is just 74 feet above sea level, with the rest of the course totally flat.

The Clearwater 5-Miler course uses the same route as the Clearwater Halfathon, however, after crossing Clearwater Causeway to the beach, the Clearwater 5-Miler course returns to Coachman Park. This course is mostly flat, but offers two challenging ascents over the Clearwater Bridge.

The Clearwater 5K Fitness Walk course will depart Coachman Park and tour through downtown, with a challenging ascent over the Clearwater Bridge, a pleasant walk along the Clearwater Causeway to the turn-around, and a return trip back over the Clearwater Bridge to Coachman Park.
